I prefer to not take photos of myself. Try as I may to get a good shot of Max smiling I just could not get the darn dog to cooperate. I was stuck with only myself here to smile for the camera.

day 1...
self portrait.
Today I am beginning another 30 day project. It starts with a self portrait. No make up. No fussing with my hair. Sunglasses on my head. This is me.

day 1...
a picture of yourself.
Not my best work. I remembered this project late yesterday evening when the sun was almost down. I had thankfully been carrying my camera on our evening stroll. I propped the camera up on the ledge opposite the one I am sitting on, set the timer and hoped for the best. Because the lighting was low I had to bump my ISO way up so the picture is grainy but it is of me, taken by me and posted on day 1. I did nothing to prepare myself for this shot as evidenced by the windblown frizzy french braid. This is me as I am most of the time.
